The Sustainability Achieved Via Energy Efficiency (SAVE) 3.0 is a program which grants maximum RM400 e-Rebate to domestic households that purchase energy efficient with 4 star or 5 star energy efficiency labels from the Energy Commission (ST) in 2021.

 

WHAT IS SAVE 3.0?

Maximum RM400 e-rebate program for households that purchase energy efficient that has undergone a performance test for energy efficient appliances that received a 4 or 5 star energy efficiency labels from the Energy Commission (ST).

 

OBJECTIVES
 

The main objectives of the SAVE 3.0 Program are as follows:
 

  •  Increase the total number of five (5) and four (4) star energy efficient electrical appliances and energy efficient appliances in the market; and
  •  Increase public awareness to encourage them to buy energy efficient appliances that will save consumer’s electricity consumption, especially for domestic consumers.
     

The project’s implementation period has been set for one (1) year from January 2022 to December 2022.

 

Eligibility
 

  • MALAYSIAN CITIZEN with a Valid Identification Card
  • USERS / OWNERS OF REGISTERED ELECTRICAL ACCOUNT (DOMESTIC) IN ELECTRICAL UTILITY COMPANIES SUCH AS TNB, SABAH ELECTRICITY SDN. BHD. (SESB), SARAWAK ENERGY BERHAD (SEB) DAN NUR POWER SDN. BHD
  • REDEMPTION FOR TWO (2) CATEGORIES: 1. CATEGORY 1 – REFRIGERATOR OR AIR CONDITIONER; 
  • 1 ELECTRICITY BILL ACCOUNT ONLY ELIGIBLE TO APPLY 1 E-REBATE FOR EACH CATEGORY & FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS
  • RECIPIENTS OF E-REBATE FOR THE SAVE 2.0 PROGRAM ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR CATEGORY 1 OF SAVE 3.0 PROGRAM
